On October 30, at the 2026 Global Digital Commerce Conference, an international exchange node for Earth system data was launched. Based on the “1+N” collaborative service network layout of the China Meteorological Administration, the Shanghai node will undertake functions such as cross-border data circulation, international meteorological services, and regional coordination support, to promote the “going overseas” of China's meteorological data and promote the two-way circulation of domestic and cross-border data.
