India's state-owned LPG importers may award a joint tender contract to Abu Dhabi National Petroleum Company, Total Energy and Chevron, two market sources said on Wednesday. The contract seeks to deliver approximately 2.75 million tons of liquefied petroleum gas in 2027. Indian companies have received a total of about 12 long-term import tenders this time. Indian Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum previously sought to purchase cargo from 4 very large liquefied gas carriers every month. India's oil minister said on Tuesday that 67% of India's current LPG imports come from the US.
