According to the news, ASMPT announced its third quarter results. During the period, it received revenue of HK$5.247 billion, an increase of 48.7% over the previous year; a total of HK$8.845 billion in new orders, an increase of 137.9%; and a profit of HK$533 million, turning a loss into a profit over the previous year. Revenue for the fourth quarter is expected to be between US$670 million and US$730 million, with a median increase of 4.6% month-on-month and 37.5% year-on-year with a median figure of US$70 million.

Thanks to the continued increase in AI infrastructure investment, large one-time orders and extended delivery cycles, which prompted customers to order early, the total number of new orders added by the Group reached HK$8.85 billion in the third quarter of 2026. Driven by strong demand for many products, the total number of new orders increased 24.7% month-on-month and 137.9% year-on-year. The Group's order-to-shipment ratio reached 1.69, the highest level since the first quarter of 2021.
