China Construction Machinery Industry Association: Sales of 679 graders of various types increased 8.81% year-on-year in July 2026

The Zhitong Finance App learned that data released by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association showed that in July 2026, the sales performance of major categories in the construction machinery industry was divided. Sales of lift work platforms increased 67.5% year on year, crawler cranes increased 85.1% year on year, and road rollers increased 33.2% year on year, showing strong growth; tower cranes fell 12.4% year on year, and aerial work platforms fell 34.6% year on year, continuing to bear pressure. The export side remained resilient as a whole. Paver exports increased 128% year on year, crawler crane exports increased 98.9% year on year, and roller exports increased 72.9% year on year, but truck crane exports fell 3.94% year on year and tower crane exports fell 6.38% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major grader manufacturers, 679 graders of various types were sold in July 2026, an increase of 8.81% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume of 66 units, a year-on-year decrease of 32%; exports of 613 units, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%.

From January to July 2026, a total of 5,763 graders were sold, an increase of 16% over the previous year. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 727 units, down 20.5% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 5036 units, up 24.3% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major truck crane manufacturers, 1,449 truck cranes of various types were sold in July 2026, an increase of 6.7% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume: 791 units, up 17.5% year on year; export 658 units, down 3.94% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 13,855 truck cranes were sold, an increase of 14.4% over the previous year. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 7,958 units, up 17.8% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 5897 units, up 10.1% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major crawler crane manufacturers, 446 crawler cranes of various types were sold in July 2026, an increase of 85.1% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 90 units, up 45.2% year on year; 356 units were exported, up 98.9% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 2,566 crawler cranes were sold, an increase of 42% over the previous year. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 621 units, up 11.7% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 1945 units, up 55.5% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major truck-mounted crane manufacturers, 1,856 truck-mounted cranes of various types were sold in July 2026, an increase of 3.86% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 1,349 units, down 6.32% year on year; 507 units were exported, up 46.1% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 14,487 truck-mounted cranes were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 4.73%. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 11,142 units, down 5.93% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 3,345 units, down 0.51% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major tower crane manufacturers, 359 tower cranes of various types were sold in July 2026, a year-on-year decrease of 12.4%. Among them: domestic sales volume was 183 units, down 17.6% year on year; 176 units were exported, down 6.38% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 2,732 tower cranes were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 14.1%. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 1,379 units, down 19.7% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 1,353 units, down 7.58% year on year.

industrial vehicles

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major forklift manufacturers, a total of 51,143 forklifts without electric walking storage vehicles were sold in July 2026, an increase of 13.3% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 29,716 units, up 5.99% year on year; export 21,427 units, up 25.2% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 38,5982 forklifts without electric walking storage vehicles were sold, an increase of 9.6% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 24,4830 units, up 3.29% year on year; 14,152 units were exported, up 22.6% year on year.

In July 2026, 14,7839 forklifts of all types were sold, an increase of 24.6% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume of 85,608 units (including 1139 AGVs), an increase of 22.8% year on year; exports of 62231 units (including 41 AGVs), an increase of 27.2% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 1009,773 forklifts were sold, an increase of 17.7% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 629,457 units (including AGV6555 units), a year-on-year increase of 15.3%; exports of 380,316 units (including AGV593 units), an increase of 22% year-on-year.

Among them: domestic sales volume was 381 units, down 30% year on year; 1,497 units were exported, up 72.9% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 13,453 rollers were sold, an increase of 24.2% over the previous year. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 3,704 units, down 11.2% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 9749 units, up 46.3% year on year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major paver manufacturers, 122 pavers of various types were sold in July 2026, an increase of 11.9% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume of 65 units, a year-on-year decrease of 22.6%; exports of 57 units, a year-on-year increase of 128%.

From January to July 2026, a total of 1,074 pavers were sold, an increase of 7.51% over the previous year. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 597 units, down 18.9% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 477 units, up 81.4% year on year.

Elevating work platform

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major manufacturers of lift work platforms, 22,706 lift work platforms of various types were sold in July 2026, an increase of 67.5% over the previous year. Among them: domestic sales volume was 9620 units, up 88.7% year on year; 1,3086 units were exported, up 54.7% year on year.

From January to July 2026, a total of 134,273 lift work platforms were sold, an increase of 26.6% over the previous year. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 45,822 units, up 9.64% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 88,451 units, up 37.6% year on year.

Aerial work platform

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major aerial work platform manufacturers, 261 aerial work platforms of various types were sold in July 2026, a year-on-year decrease of 34.6%. Among them: domestic sales volume: 251 units, a year-on-year decrease of 36%; exports of 10 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%.

From January to July 2026, a total of 2,760 aerial work platforms were sold, a year-on-year decrease of 2.95%. Among them: cumulative domestic sales volume was 2,584 units, down 4.44% year on year; cumulative export sales volume was 176 units, up 25.7% year on year.
