Yang Chaobin, director of Huawei and CEO of ICT BG, said at the operating system conference 2025 that AI technology is changing all walks of life at an unprecedented speed, and traditional server clusters cannot effectively meet the demands of growing computing power. Huawei has opened the Lingqu Internet Protocol 2.0 to support industry partners to build supernodes based on Lingqu. It will also contribute operating system plug-in code that supports supernodes to the open source Euler community, providing key capabilities such as “unified memory addressing,” “heterogeneous computing power, low latency communication,” and “global resource pooling.”
