Why did my transfer fail or get rejected?


Transfers to Webull may fail or remain pending for more than 7 business days due to the following reasons:


  1. Unsupported Securities: You attempted to transfer bonds, mutual funds, penny stocks on OTC markets, or other securities not tradable on our platform.
  2. Option Contracts: The option contracts you requested to transfer cannot expire within the next two weeks.
  3. Insufficient Funds: Your account does not have enough cash to cover the outgoing broker’s transfer fees.
  4. Negative Balance: There is a negative balance or margin debit in your outgoing broker’s account.
  5. Trading Activity During Transfer: You attempted to trade during the transfer process.
  6. Multiple Transfer Requests: You submitted several transfer requests while a current one was still being processed. Only one transfer request should be active at a time.
  7. Minimum Transfer Value: The value of the assets you are trying to transfer must be greater than $500.
