Futures Troubleshooting and Support

Why doesn't a displayed price necessarily result in an execution?

A displayed price shows recent trading activity or an available quote, but it does not guarantee your futures order will fill at that price. Some common causes of this discrepancy are:

  • Low liquidity: There may not be enough orders available at the displayed price to fill your order.

  • Fast-moving markets: Prices and available quantities can change before your order reaches the exchange.

How can I investigate a rejected or failed order using its error message?

Check out the relevant order details and account status before trying again. Confirm whether the original order appears in your order history to avoid submitting a duplicate.

If the message is unclear or the issue continues, contact the Webull Futures support team with:

  • The exact error message or a screenshot.

  • The futures symbol.

  • The order type, quantity, and price.

  • The time of the attempt and order number, if available.

How can I troubleshoot frozen screens, stale quotes, missing positions, or delayed display updates?

If your screen freezes or Futures quotes, positions, or order details appear outdated:

  1. Check your internet connection and reconnect if needed.

  2. Refresh the page or reopen the platform. Confirm you are using the latest version of the applicable Webull platform.

  3. Check the future’s trading status. Trading may have paused or been interrupted by maintenance. Low trading activity can also leave prices unchanged.

If the issue continues, contact Webull Futures support.

Why might my futures account be restricted?

Restrictions may result from a margin call, outstanding account requirements, or a risk review. Depending on the restriction, you may be unable to open new positions or may be limited to reducing or closing existing positions. Review any account notices and contact Webull Futures support for the specific reason and next steps.

How do I report a suspected platform or exchange outage?

If you suspect a platform or exchange outage, report it through the Webull Help Center or contact the Webull Futures support team by phone or email.

Include the time the issue began, your device and version, and any screenshots or error messages. If an order is affected, provide its order number and describe what you were attempting to do.

Check your order status before resubmitting. An interrupted connection or delayed display does not necessarily mean your order failed.
