Futures Fees

What fees apply to Futures trades?

Futures transaction fees include four components:

  • Commission: Webull’s charge for executing the trade.

  • Clearing Fee: The charge for clearing the trade.

  • Exchange Fee: The charge set by the exchange where the contract trades.

  • Regulatory Fee (NFA): The applicable National Futures Association assessment.

What are the current rates, and where can I find the applicable Futures fee schedule?

Fees vary by contract and applicable commission pricing. Review Webull’s fee schedule for Futures and the Estimated Transaction Fee on the order ticket before submitting a trade.

What charges apply when opening and closing a position?

Applicable fees are charged per contract when you open a position and when you close it through a trade.

For example, if the total fee is $1.50 per contract per side, opening one contract and later closing it costs $3.00 in total fees. Fees reduce your net profit or increase your net loss.

Where can I see estimated and actual charges?

Before submitting an order, review Estimated Transaction Fee on the order ticket. The breakdown shows the commission, clearing fee, exchange fee, and regulatory fee (NFA).

Review your trade confirmations and account statements for the actual charges applied after execution.

Are there charges for canceled or rejected orders?

Transaction fees apply only to contracts that execute. An order that is canceled, rejected, or expires without a fill does not incur these fees. If an order partially fills, fees apply to the contracts that filled.
