Why doesn't a displayed price necessarily result in an execution?
A displayed price shows recent trading activity or an available quote, but it does not guarantee your order will fill at that price. Some common causes of this discrepancy are:
Low liquidity: There may not be enough contracts available at the displayed price to fill your order.
Fast-moving markets: Prices and available quantities can change before your order reaches the exchange.
How can I investigate a rejected or failed order using its error message?
If an order is rejected or fails to submit, review the error message for the reason and any suggested action. It may identify insufficient buying power, an invalid price or quantity, a trading restriction, or a market availability issue.
Check the relevant order details and account status before trying again. Confirm whether the original order appears in your order history to avoid submitting a duplicate.
If the message is unclear or the issue continues, contact Webull Futures support with:
The exact error message or a screenshot.
The contract symbol and expiration.
The order type, quantity, and price.
The time of the attempt and order number, if available.
How can I troubleshoot frozen screens, stale quotes, missing positions, or delayed display updates?
If your screen freezes or Event Contract quotes, positions, or order details appear outdated:
Check your internet connection and reconnect if needed.
Refresh the page or reopen the app. Confirm you are using the latest version of Webull.
Check the event’s trading status. Trading may have ended, paused, or been interrupted by maintenance. Low trading activity can also leave prices unchanged.
If the issue continues, contact Webull Event Contract support.
How do I report a suspected platform or exchange outage?
If you suspect a platform or exchange outage, report it through the Webull Help Center or contact the Event Contract support team.
Include the time the issue began, the affected event or contract, your device and app version, and any screenshots or error messages. If an order is affected, provide its order number and describe what you were attempting to do.
Check your order status before resubmitting. An interrupted connection or delayed display does not necessarily mean your order failed.
