Event Contract Fees

What are Webull's Event Contract commissions and exchange fees?

Each Event Contract trade has two per-contract charges. Webull charges a commission of $0.01 per contract, and the exchange charges an exchange fee of $0.01 per contract. The total is $0.02 per contract, charged on both opening and closing trades. The commission is Webull's charge for providing access and routing your order. The exchange fee is set by the exchange and passed through to you.

What are the current rates, and where can I find the applicable fee schedule?

Currently, Webull charges a $0.01 commission and collects a $0.01 exchange fee per contract, charged on both opening and closing trades. Before you place a trade, always check your estimated contract cost and transaction fee (commission and exchange fee) found by clicking the information button next to Estimated Total (Debit) on the order entry page.

What charges apply when opening and closing a position?

Commission and exchange fees are charged per contract when you open a position and again when you close it by selling before expiration. For example, buying 100 contracts costs $2.00 in fees ($0.01 commission and $0.01 exchange fee on each contract), on top of the contract prices. Selling those 100 contracts later costs another $2.00. Fees are added to your cost when you buy and deducted from your proceeds when you sell, so they reduce your net return.

Is there a charge for holding a position through settlement?

Neither Webull or Kalshi charge a settlement fee. A contract that settles in your favor pays $1.00 or settles at $0.00 with no added charge. Because settlement is not a closing trade, holding a position until it settles avoids the fee you would pay to sell it.

Where can I see estimated and actual charges?

Estimated fees are shown before you submit an order and can be found by clicking the information button next to Estimated Total (Debit) on the order entry page. Actual charges are recorded in your order details and trade history after execution. Your account statements and trade confirmations also show the commissions and fees charged.

Are there charges for canceled or rejected orders?

Fees are charged only on contracts that actually execute. There is no charge for canceling an order or for an order that is rejected or expires unfilled. If an order fills partially before the rest is canceled, fees apply only to the contracts that filled.
