Vega Analyst: Advanced AI Reports

Vega Analyst is the advanced tier of Vega's AI analysis suite. It allows users to generate detailed reports on any stock by selecting from a set of research modules, each covering a different dimension of the business.

How It Works

Vega Analyst reports are built from modules. Users select which modules to include, and the report is generated based on those selections. Each module covers a distinct area of analysis:

  • Company Overview: What the company does, how it generates revenue, and what drives the business.
  • Financial Analysis: Revenue, margins, profitability, earnings quality, balance sheet strength, and operating performance.
  • Industry Analysis: The company's competitive position, relevant sector trends, and broader market outlook.
  • Valuation Analysis: Whether the current price appears reasonable, based on valuation measures, peer comparisons, and key assumptions.
  • Key Events: Recent news, earnings, corporate actions, product updates, regulatory developments, and other events that may affect stock price.
  • Technical Analysis: Price trends, momentum, support and resistance levels, chart structure, and trading signals.
  • Risk Alerts: Major risks, downside scenarios, uncertainty factors, and reasons for caution.

Selecting more modules produces a more comprehensive report. Selecting fewer produces a more focused one.

Report Generation

Every report is generated in real time using the latest available data. Reports are not pre-built templates — each one is produced on demand, meaning:

  • Data reflects market conditions at the time of generation
  • Analytical logic varies by stock and is not applied uniformly across all tickers
  • A new report can be generated at any time for an updated view

What a Report Contains

Every Vega Analyst report includes the following:

  • Key Summary: A concise takeaway based on the selected modules and the stock being analyzed.
  • Modular Analysis: Detailed sections corresponding to each module selected.
  • Traceable Data: Data points are presented with supporting context to make the report easier to verify.
  • Risks and Opportunities: Both potential strengths and notable concerns are included regardless of module selection.

Credits

Credits are the unit of consumption for Vega Analyst features. Each subscription tier includes a fixed credit allocation per cycle. The number of credits a report consumes depends on how many modules are selected.

Mode
Report Focus
Credit Cost
Best For
Focused (1-2 modules)
Quick, targeted insight
Lower
Limited time, single-dimension focus
Standard (3-4 modules)
Covers key dimensions
Moderate
Basic multi-dimensional analysis
Deep (5-7 modules)
Comprehensive deep dive
Higher
Before major decisions or position-building

The "approximately 23 reports" figure shown in the app is an estimate based on Standard mode (3–4 modules). Actual report count will vary based on module selection. The credits balance displayed in the app is always the definitive measure.

Refresh & Rollover

  • Free users receive 80 credits per month. Unused credits do not carry over.
  • Subscriber credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over.
  • Viewing a previously generated report does not consume credits.
  • Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-shareable, and hold no monetary value.

Is every report generated with real-time data?

Reports use the latest data available at the time of generation. Market data and quotes may be delayed. Users should verify figures against real-time quotes before acting on any information.

Can Vega Analyst reports be used as investment advice?

No. Vega Analyst content is for informational reference only and does not constitute investment advice. Investing involves risk. Users should make decisions based on their own judgment.

Does selecting more modules produce a better report?

Not necessarily. A report limited to one or two modules will provide more focused coverage of those areas. Selecting modules that are not relevant to the question being investigated adds cost without adding useful information. The recommended approach is to select only the modules relevant to the specific analysis being conducted.

How many reports can I generate with my credits?

This depends on how many modules are selected per report. Standard mode (3–4 modules) yields approximately 23 reports per standard credit allocation. Focused mode will yield more; Deep mode will yield fewer. The credits balance in the app always displays available credits.

When do credits refresh?

Credits refresh at the start of each subscription cycle. Credits remaining from the previous cycle are not carried forward.

Can I still view previously generated reports?

Yes. Subscriber reports are saved permanently and can be accessed at any time. Free user reports are retained for 7 days. Viewing a saved report does not consume credits.
