Fees & Limits

Are there fees for trading crypto with Webull?

Webull does not charge direct trading fees when you buy or sell crypto. Instead, a 1% spread is included in the price of each trade.

Key Points:

  • No minimum equity requirement to trade crypto.
  • No separate transaction or commission fees.
  • A 1% spread (100 basis points) is applied to both buy and sell orders.
  • The trading fee spread does not apply to stablecoins.

How the spread works:

  • If the market price of Bitcoin is $50,000:
  • Buy price (with spread): $50,000 × 1.01 = $50,500
  • Sell price (with spread): $50,000 × 0.99 = $49,500

In this example, the 1% spread results in buying at a price higher than the market rate and selling at a price lower than the market rate.

The spread accounts for the cost of facilitating the trade and may vary depending on market conditions.
