Bank Freezes


Why is my linked bank account frozen?

Your linked bank account may be frozen for several reasons, including:


  • You have multiple reversals and or failed transactions.
  • Discrepancies between the name on your bank account and your Webull account.
  • Linking the same bank account to multiple Webull accounts.
  • Security or compliance issues flagged by Webull or your bank.

How do I unfreeze my account?

To unfreeze your linked bank account, you will be required to send us a bank statement. For guidance using our mobile app, please follow the instructions outlined below:


App:

  1. Tap the Webull logo (bottom center) and select your account.
  2. Navigate to Transfers.
  3. Under Linked Account(s), Select Unfreeze.

Web:

  1. Navigate to My Account (top right).
  2. Locate Deposit ➝ ACH.
  3. Select Unfreeze.

Bank statements are requested for several reasons, primarily to lift restrictions and verify bank details. By providing a bank statement, we can help remove these restrictions and confirm your information.


What details are required on my bank statement?

When sending us a bank statement, be sure your copy includes the following data:


  1. Your full name
  2. Address
  3. Account number
