Transfer Cancellations


How do I cancel an incoming asset transfer?

Transfer cancellations are handled on a best-efforts basis, and submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the ACAT will be stopped. If you wish to request a cancellation, you can do so through the Webull mobile app. Follow these steps for guidance:


App:

  1. Go to your Webull account page, tap Transfers ➝ Transfer Assets ➝ Transfer In.
  2. Tap the Clipboard icon (top right).
  3. Navigate to the transfer request you desire to cancel.
  4. Select Cancel located at the bottom of the transfer request.

Lite:

  1. Tap the head and shoulders icon.
  2. Select Banking and Transfers and select the desired account.
  3. Locate Transfer Accounts ➝ Transfer In.
  4. Tap the Clipboard icon (top right).
  5. Navigate to the transfer request you desire to cancel.
  6. Select Cancel located at the bottom of the transfer request.

How long do I have to cancel my transfer?

You can cancel your transfer within the first 30 minutes of initiating it. After this period, the cancel button will no longer appear, and the status will update to “Transferring,” indicating the request is already being processed. If you are unable to cancel your transfer request within the 30-minute window, you must send a handwritten letter requesting the cancellation of your outgoing transfer. This can be sent via email to support@webull.com or through our in-app Help Center. The letter should include your signature, account number, and a request to cancel.

I am requesting the cancellation of an incoming ACAT transfer initiated on [date].


Account Number: [Your Account Number]

Signature: [Your Signature]


As with the electronic request, this is processed on a best-effort basis. There is no guarantee this transfer can be cancelled.
