Transfer Basics

How does it work?

You can transfer cash, stocks, and other supported assets into Webull through ACATS (Automated Customer Account Transfer Service). This process electronically transfers eligible assets from another financial institution to Webull. You may choose one of the following:

• Full account transfer: All assets from your other brokerage account will be transferred to Webull.
• Partial account transfer: You may choose which assets are transferred to Webull.

Note: Only one transfer request can be submitted at a time. You must wait for an in-progress transfer to complete before initiating a new one.

What securities can I transfer to my Webull account?

You may transfer the following asset types to your account:

• U.S. exchange-listed stocks
• ETFs
• American Depository Receipts (ADRs)
• Eligible options contracts
• U.S. Treasury bonds (must mature more than 10 days out)
• Corporate bonds
• OTC stocks that are tradeable on Webull

Conditions:

• Assets must be tradeable on Webull (search the ticker on any platform; no “Trade” button = not supported).
• All assets must be denominated in USD.
• Minimum value: $500
• Options Expiry: To be eligible for transfer, options contracts must not expire within the next two weeks. Your Webull options level should also be sufficient to support the position once transferred.
• Fractional shares will be automatically liquidated during transfer.

Unsupported securities include:

• Cryptocurrencies
• Open-ended mutual funds
• Warrants and rights
• OTC stocks that are not tradeable on Webull

To verify if a security is tradable on Webull, please review the following steps for all platforms:

App:

1. Watchlists (bottom left)
2. Tap the magnifying glass (bottom search bar).
3. Search for the symbol or company name. If there is no trade button displayed, the security is not tradable on our platform.

Lite:

1. Tap the chart icon located bottom left.
2. Select the magnifying glass located top right.
3. Search for the symbol or company name. If there is no trade button displayed, the security is not tradable on our platform.

Desktop & Web:

1. Click the search bar at the top of the page.
2. Search a symbol or company name.
3. If there is no trade button displayed, the security is not tradable on our platform.

What account types are supported?

Currently, Webull allows for the following accounts to be transfered through ACATS:

• Individual Cash
• Individual Margin
• Traditional IRA
• Rollover IRA
• Roth IRA
• Joint (Cash or Margin)

What fees are associated with my transfer?

Note: Certain financial institutions may charge a higher outgoing transfer fee. For exact charges, please consult your delivering broker.
