What if I plan to travel abroad temporarily?

If you plan to travel outside the U.S. for more than two weeks, please provide Webull with proof of U.S. residency, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement. Without this, your account may be subject to restrictions, including the inability to open trades or make deposits.

Can I use a VPN while accessing my account?

No. The use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is not permitted while accessing your account. A VPN may mask your actual location, which can cause your account to appear as though it is being accessed from outside the United States or from a sanctioned country. If this occurs, your account may be restricted for security purposes, and you will be required to provide proof of U.S. residency before access can be restored. This applies regardless of your actual physical location at the time of use.

Can I access my account from a sanctioned country?

Access to our platform from sanctioned destinations, as defined by the U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), is prohibited.
