Why did Webull move crypto trading to a separate Webull Pay App?

We moved crypto trading to its own dedicated platform with the launch of the Webull Pay App. Webull Pay operates as a separate entity, designed to elevate your crypto trading experience by offering innovative features and access to exciting new products and services.

When was this transition?

The transition took place in early June 2023. All supported crypto previously held with Webull Financial was seamlessly migrated to Webull Pay. Clients were notified of the transfer through email and in-app messages.

How can I access my crypto assets previously held at Webull Financial?

To access and manage your crypto assets, download the Webull Pay App and log in using your existing Webull credentials. For added convenience, you can use the "Webull App Quick Login" feature.

Was my brokerage account affected by the transfer?

The transfer did not affect your brokerage account. Your stocks, ETFs, options, and cash balance remain unchanged.

Are the crypto assets safe after the transfer?

Following the transition, the custodian of your cryptocurrency will remain Bakkt (formerly Apex Crypto LLC). The security of your cryptocurrency assets will not be affected.

After the transfer, can I still use the funds in the brokerage account to trade crypto?

After the transition, you will not be able to use the funds in the brokerage account for crypto trading, and you need to make an independent deposit in the Webull Pay App.

Can I transfer funds from my Webull account to my Webull Pay account?

Currently, direct transfers between your Webull brokerage account and Webull Pay account are not available. However, you can withdraw the funds from your Webull brokerage account to your linked bank account. Once the funds are in your bank account, you can then deposit them into your Webull Pay account.
