What is Unusual Option Activity?

About Unusual Option Activity

The Pulse Index provided by Webull allows users to see the increase of daily volume in options trading compared to last 30 days' average. It is calculated as the ratio of the current total options volume under a symbol to the arithmetic mean of daily volume over the last 30 days. The Call and Put Pulse Indices are measured the same way, by dividing current call/put volume by the last 30 days' average.

The unusual option activity tables display a list of symbols by ranking the Pulse Index from high to low in daily total volume, call volume, and put volume. This feature provides insight on which symbols are experiencing noticeable options activities.
