U.S. Steel And CarbonFree Forge Path For Carbon Capture Innovation At Gary Works Blast Furnaces
United States Steel Corporation inked a definitive agreement to capture carbon emissions from its blast furnace. The initiative will use CarbonFree’s SkyCycle technology to capture and mineralize 50,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide yearly. U.S. Steel's participation supports its targets of cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
