Arlington to delist and deregister senior notes
Financials Arlington to delist and deregister senior notes Dec. 13, 2023. Arlington Asset Investment to voluntarily delist from the NYSE Arlington's 6.75% senior notes due 2025 and 6.000% notes due 2026. The merger with Ellington Financial is expected to close on December 14, 2024.

Arlington Asset Investment Announced Today, In Connection With The Anticipated Merger Transaction With Ellington Financial, That It Intends To Voluntarily Delist From The New York Stock Exchange
On December 26, 2023, Arlington intends to file a Form 25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The last day of trading of the Senior Notes on the NYSE is expected to be January 5, 2024. Arlington has not made arrangements to list the notes on another national securities exchange.

Arlington Asset Investment Corp. is an investment company that focuses primarily on investing in mortgage-related assets and residential real estate. Its investment capital is allocated between asset classes, including mortgage servicing rights (MSR) related assets, credit investments and agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS). Its agency MBS consists of residential mortgage pass-through certificates, for which the principal and interest payments are guaranteed by a United States government-sponsored enterprise (GSE), such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Its MSR-related assets represent investments, for which the return is based on the economic performance of a pool of specific MSRs. Its credit investments include investments in mortgage loans secured by either residential or commercial real property or MBS collateralized by residential or commercial mortgage loans or asset-backed securities (ABS) collateralized by residential solar panel loans.
