Bowl America Incorporated is engaged in the entertainment business. The Company operates bowling centers, with food and beverage service in each center. The Company's bowling centers are air-conditioned with facilities for service of food and beverages, game rooms, rental lockers and meeting room facilities. Its bowling centers provide shoes for rental, and it also provides bowling balls. In addition, each center sells retail bowling accessories. Its bowling centers also offers glow-in-the-dark bowling and non-league bowling. The Company has approximately 17 bowling centers contain a total of 682 lanes. The Company operates nine bowling centers in the greater metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., one bowling center in the greater metropolitan area of Baltimore, Maryland, three bowling centers in the greater metropolitan area of Jacksonville, Florida and four bowling centers in the greater metropolitan area of Richmond, Virginia.
