Its Ethical Classic Business is involved in the manufacture, distribution and sales of drugs that treat a wide range of ailments, from cardiovascular, dermatological and hormonal conditions to respiratory, sensory, nervous and musculoskeletal system diseases, among others. Its Ethical Specialty Business focuses on treatments, including generics and biosimilars-that target its three specialty (or franchise) areas, namely kidney disease, cancer and diabetes. It has core competencies in the pharmaceutical industry inclusive of manufacturing, research and development and commercialization and marketing of over 300 generic drugs.
