The Howard Hughes Corporation owns, manages, and develops commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate throughout the United States. The Company operates through four segments: Operating Assets, Master Planned Communities (MPC), Seaport, and Strategic Developments. The Operating Assets segment consists of developed or acquired retail, office, and multi-family properties along with other real estate investments. The MPC segment consists of the development and sale of land in large-scale, long-term community development projects in and around Las Vegas, Nevada; Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; and Columbia, Maryland. The Seaport segment consists of approximately 473,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and entertainment properties situated in three primary locations in New York, New York: Pier 17, Historic Area/Uplands and Tin Building. The Strategic Developments segment consists of residential condominium and commercial property projects.
