Conrad Industries, Inc. designs, builds and overhauls barges, dredges and dredge support equipment, tugboats, ferries, drydocks, lift boats, offshore supply vessels and other steel products for both the commercial and government markets. It specializes in the construction, conversion and repair of a wide variety of marine vessels for commercial and governmental customers. It provides both repair and new construction services at its five shipyards located in southern Louisiana and Texas. Its segments include vessel construction and repair and conversions. The vessel construction segment involves the building of new vessels, often including engineering and design. The repair and conversions segment involves work on existing vessels. These vessels include large and small deck barges, crane barges, spud barges, docking barges, tank barges, flood gates, split-hull dump scows, dredges, drydocks, inland and offshore tugboats, tow boats, multi-purpose tugboats, lift boats, and ferries.
