The Annuities segment includes both retail and institutional annuities, which includes Fixed Index Annuities, Fixed Rate Annuities, Pension Risk Transfer, and Single Premium Immediate Annuities. The P&C segment consists of personal, agricultural, and targeted commercial coverage and credit-related property insurance. The Life Insurance segments consist of whole, term, universal, indexed, and variable life insurance. Products are primarily sold through career, multiple-line, and independent agents as well as direct marketing channels. It conducts its business in over 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
