The S&P 500 and Dow futures rose on Friday as investors remained optimistic about a likely pause in U.S. interest-rate hikes, while chip-equipment firms and automakers dropped in premarket trading. .N

At 7:31 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.25% at 35,010. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.11% at 4,510.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were down 0.09% at 15,464.
