Mexico's FEMSA reports 69.1% jump in Q2 profit

- Mexican bottler and retailer Femsa FMSAUBD.MX, which controls the world's top Coca-Cola producer by volume, posted on Thursday a 69.1% increase in second-quarter profit from the year ago period, hitting 5.2 billion pesos ($259 million).

Revenue for the company reached 167.5 billion pesos in the second quarter, a 22.2% increase year-over-year.
