- Germany was able to increase its gas storage level slightly as the tries to bolster reserves for winter, but the situation remained tense and could deteriorate, the regulator said on Thursday.

The total gas storage level in Germany was 67.2%, according to the Bundesnetzagentur regulator's latest situation report, compared to 66.8% reported on Wednesday.

Russian gas flows to Germany via the key Nord Stream 1 pipeline were currently at 19.5% of their maximum capacity, the regulator added.
