Hookipa Pharma Posts Wider Q1 Loss Amid Higher Spending, Revenue Rises
08:19 AM EDT, 05/12/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Hookipa Pharma (HOOK) reported Wednesday Q1 net loss of $0.53 per diluted share, wider compared with $0.43 a year ago after operating expenses increased to $24.5 million from $16.2 million.
Analysts were looking for a loss per share of $0.53.
Revenue from collaboration and licensing totaled $5.3 million, compared with $3.7 million a year ago. Street view was for $4 million.
Cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash stood at $128.1 million as of the end of March versus $143.2 million as of Dec. 31, according to the statement.
