G. Willi-Food Posts Higher Q1 Earnings, Sales Decline; Appoints Erez Winner Acting CEO
06:28 AM EDT, 05/12/2021 (MT Newswires) -- G. Willi-Food International (WILC) reported Q1 earnings Wednesday of $0.42 per share, up from $0.03 per share a year earlier.
Sales were $35 million for the quarter ended March 31, down from $38.7 million a year ago.
Analysts' estimates were not available for comparison.
Meanwhile, the food distributor also appointed Erez Winner as acting chief executive of the company and its parent, Willi-Food Investments Ltd.
The appointment comes after Einat Peled Shapira, who was then CEO of the company, resigned, effective April 1.
