SelectQuote Shares Slump on Missed FQ3 Earnings
04:48 PM EDT, 05/11/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of SelectQuote (SLQT) were trading lower in Tuesday's after-hours session after the life insurance sales agency reported disappointing earnings for the fiscal third quarter ending March 31, and set 2021 revenue guidance.
The company earned a profit of $0.22 per share, up from $0.17 per share in the same quarter last year, but below the consensus estimate compiled by Capital IQ of $0.24 per share.
Revenue increased to $266.9 million from $148.6 million and beat the estimated $262.6 million.
For 2021, the company set its revenue guidance at $920 million to $940 million vs. the consensus estimate of $934.5 million.
