Upstart Holdings Q1 Profit, Revenue Up Sharply, Sets Guidance -- Stock Jumps 15% After-Hours
04:33 PM EDT, 05/11/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Upstart Holdings (UPST) on Tuesday posted an adjusted EPS of $0.22 in Q1, up sharply from $0.05 a year earlier, and outpacing analyst estimates of $0.15 in a Capital IQ survey.
Revenue jumped 90% to $121 million from a year ago, also exceeding the $116.06 million consensus.
For Q2, the company expects revenue of $150 to $160 million and an adjusted net income of $21 to $25 million, against the Street estimates of $117.14 million for revenue.
For the fiscal year 2021, it now projects revenue of about $600 million, up from prior guidance of $500 million, against a market consensus of $502.22 million in revenue.
