International Business Machines Introduces New Hybrid Cloud, AI Capabilities
02:54 PM EDT, 05/11/2021 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines (IBM) said it unveiled a series of new hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence capabilities at its Think conference Tuesday.
The company introduced a capability that uses AI to help customers get answers to distributed queries as much as 8 times faster than previously and at nearly half the cost of other data warehouses, according to a statement. It allows AI to help automate how customers access, unify and manage data irrespective of the data's location.
Other innovations included Watson Orchestrate, which is a new interactive AI capability that increases the personal productivity across sales, human resources, and operations. It helps workers to perform routine tasks more quickly, giving them more time for strategic jobs.
IBM has also added a new capability into WebSphere Hybrid Edition that enables enterprises to optimize and modernize their applications for hybrid cloud.
