Barry Callebaut's De Saint-Affrique frontrunner for top Danone job - Les Echos
PARIS, May 11 (Reuters) - Antoine de Saint-Affrique is the frontrunner to be appointed chief executive at Danone DANO.PA and a decision could come soon, French daily Les Echos reports on its website.
A majority of the board of the French food group is now in favour of selecting De Saint-Affrique, the paper said.
Danone declined to comment.
De Saint-Affrique announced on April 22 he was stepping down from Swiss chocolate maker Barry Callebaut BARN.S at the end of August.
He is seen as being one of two candidates currently in detailed talks with Danone.nL8N2MM8HJ
The other name that has been surfacing is Nathalie Roos, who recently left her job at the helm of L'Oreal's OREP.PA professional products division.
