Berkeley Lights Q1 Loss Narrows, Revenue Grows; Reaffirms 2021 Revenue Outlook
06:15 AM EDT, 05/11/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Berkeley Lights (BLI) posted a Q1 net loss Tuesday of $0.24 per share, compared with a loss of $3.02 per share a year earlier.
Three analysts polled by Capital IQ projected a loss of $0.23 per share.
Revenue was $18.6 million for the quarter ended March 31, up from $13.8 million a year ago. The Street forecast was $16.8 million.
The digital cell biology company also reaffirmed its 2021 revenue outlook of $90 million to $100 million, which represents year-over-year growth of 40% to 56%. The Street forecast was $92.2 million.
