T-Mobile US Subsidiary to Sell $3 Billion of Senior Notes in Private Offering

04:03 AM EDT, 05/11/2021 (MT Newswires) -- T-Mobile US (TMUS) subsidiary T-Mobile USA agreed to sell $800 million of its 2.250% senior notes due 2026, $1.10 billion of its 3.375% senior notes due 2029, and $1.10 billion of its 3.500% senior notes due 2031 in a private offering, according to a Monday press release.

The notes will constitute additional issuances of T-Mobile USA's 2.250% senior notes due 2026, 3.375% senior notes due 2029, and 3.500% senior notes due 2031, respectively, of which the company respectively issued $1.00 billion on Jan. 14, $1.25 billion on March 23, and $1.35 billion on March 23.

The notes offering will close on May 13. T-Mobile USA plans to use the net proceeds to redeem its 6.000% senior notes due 2023, 6.000% senior notes due 2024, and 5.125% senior notes due 2025. The remaining net proceeds will be used to refinance other indebtedness, according to the statement.
