AppFolio Earnings Decline in Q1 While Sales Advance; Sets Out Fiscal Revenue Guidance; CFO Ida Kane Plans to Step Down

05:35 PM EDT, 05/10/2021 (MT Newswires) -- AppFolio (APPF) reported Q1 earnings per share of $0.01, down from $0.06 per share a year ago.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ had expected earnings of $0.06 per share.

Sales rose to $78.9 million from $72.5 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ had projected revenue of $79.4 million.

For fiscal 2021, revenue is expected to be in the range of $348 million to $355 million, which compares with a market projection compiled by Capital IQ of $346.9 million.

The company said Chief Financial Officer Ida Kane has notified the group of her plans to leave but will remain in her current role until a mutually determined future date. A search for her successor has been initiated.
