Summit Materials Pares Q1 Loss as Revenue Gain Also Tops Street View; FY21 Outlook Steady
05:13 PM EDT, 05/10/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Summit Materials (SUM) late Monday reported a Q1 adjusted loss of $0.33 per share, compared with a loss of $0.48 per share a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ had expected a loss of $0.47 per share.
Revenue totaled $427.8 million, up from $367.2 million in the year-ago quarter. Analysts had projected $354.4 million.
For full-year 2021, the company said it continues to expect adjusted EBITDA of $490 million to $520 million, and capital expenditure of $200 million to $220 million, including $25 million to $35 million for greenfield projects.
