Affirm's Fiscal Q3 Loss Narrows, Revenue Rises, Issues Upside Revenue Forecast; Names New Chief Legal Officer
04:38 PM EDT, 05/10/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Affirm Holdings (AFRM) on Monday reported a fiscal Q3 loss of $1.06 per share, compared with a loss of $1.80 per share a year ago.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ had expected a loss of $0.30 per share.
Net revenue of $230.7 million was up year over year from $138.3 million. Analysts had forecast $198.2 million.
For fiscal Q4, Affirm estimates revenue in the range of $215 million to $225 million. The Street view is for $210.4 million. The company also expects gross merchandise value to accelerate in categories including travel and ticketing.
For fiscal 2021, the company projects revenue to range from $824 million to $834 million. The Street anticipates $784.4 million.
In addition, Affirm appointed Katherine Adkins as its chief legal officer, effective June 30. Adkins succeeds Sharda Caro del Castillo, who will be stepping down from her role.
Adkins was most recently a senior member of Affirm's legal team.
