Vuzix Posts Narrower Loss on Higher Revenue in Q1
04:10 PM EDT, 05/10/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Vuzix (VUZI) reported Monday a Q1 loss of $0.12 per share, narrower than a loss of $0.18 a year ago. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.10.
Total sales for the quarter rose to $3.9 million from $1.5 million a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.8 million.
"Our balance sheet is the strongest in our company's history and we believe that we are well-positioned to continue to achieve significant year-over-year comparative revenue growth throughout the balance of 2021, thanks to the growing success of our M-Series and Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses," Chief Executive Officer and President Paul Travers said.
