· 02/05/2021 10:08

02:53 PM EST, 02/05/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Oatly, a Swedish startup backed by Blackstone Group (BX) and celebrity entrepreneurs Oprah Winfrey and Jay-Z, is weighing seeking a value of $10 billion in a US listing, Bloomberg reported, citing unidentified sources.

The maker of vegan food and drink products is working with advisers on an initial public offering that might come as soon as May, the business news service reported.

While Oatly had also explored share sale in Hong Kong, it has elected to move ahead with only a US listing for now, Bloomberg reported. A representative of Oatly declined to comment, Bloomberg reported.

Shares of Blackstone were up 1% in recent late-day trade.
