Onto Innovation Q4 Adjusted Profit, Revenue Rise

11:29 AM EST, 02/05/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Onto Innovation (ONTO) reported late Thursday Q4 adjusted profit of $0.72 per share, up from $0.41 per share a year ago. The average Street estimate from analysts polled by Capital IQ called for earnings of $0.60 per share.

Revenue for the quarter was $155.1 million, up from $120.6 million reported last year. The Street estimate was for revenue of $150.5 million.

For Q1, the manufacturer of process control tools expects adjusted profit of $0.62 to $0.76 per share, straddling the Street forecast for $0.67 per share, and revenue of $155 million to $169 million. The Street consensus calls for revenue of $161.5 million.

Shares were down 1% before midday.
