US ECONOMICS: December Trade Gap Narrows Less Than Expected

08:47 AM EST, 02/05/2021 (MT Newswires) -- The US international trade gap narrowed to $66.6 billion in December from a $69.0 billion deficit in November, a smaller narrowing than the $65.7 billion gap expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.

Exports surged in the month, surpassing imports growth and narrowing the gap.
