VoIP provider deploys CounterPath Bria Enterprise Unified Communication solution with its PBX to enable superior communication for all new and existing customers
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 1, 2020 / CounterPath Corporation (NASDAQ:CPAH)(TSX:PATH), a global provider of award-winning Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) solutions for enterprises and service providers, today announced that its partnership with Telico has enabled the VoIP provider to attract new customers and resellers with Bria Enterprise. The CounterPath Bria Enterprise Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) solution has extended Telico's VoIP offering significantly, by allowing the company to cater to remote working conditions established due to the global pandemic.
Bria Enterprise offers enterprise-grade applications to small and mid-sized businesses for desktop and mobile devices. It supports high-quality voice and video calling, leveraging any call server or VoIP service. The solution also provides additional CounterPath-hosted services for HD video conferencing, secure messaging and chat rooms, file transfer, and screen sharing. Telico is a Montreal-based VoIP provider that offers a cloud-based phone system for users across many industries. When social distancing measures were enacted, Telico stepped in to offer Bria Enterprise, a much-needed mobility and collaboration solution, to its new and existing customers and resellers.
"We're proud of our partnership with CounterPath. It has allowed us to continue to deliver a high-quality UC solution to our customers and resellers," said Viraj Mehta, President and Founder of Telico. "More recently, Bria Enterprise has enabled us to reconnect and reengage with many of our partners, particularly those in the healthcare sector. For this reason, we recommend it every day."
Among the first of Telico's customers to onboard the solution was Elna Medical, a leading network of medical clinics in Quebec. Bria Enterprise enabled Elna's 300 healthcare administrative employees, across 12 clinics, to answer all their calls remotely, with no extra hardware set up. The CounterPath UC solution was up and running within minutes, allowing staff to quickly and efficiently transition to a work-from-home environment.
"Telico is the type of partner to help reach CounterPath's core small-to-medium sized business customers," said Todd Carothers, Chief Revenue Officer at CounterPath. "As we have seen in the market, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced end-users to work differently. Our partnership with Telico has enabled the company to quickly react and provide offerings that meet the new normal of the remote workplace."
