US Central Command forces completed a round of attacks against Iranian military targets on September 1. The US military attacked multiple targets of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, including air defense positions, radar systems, sea-related facilities and equipment, facilities related to mining capabilities, and communication sites. This attack is in response to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps's recent attempt to attack merchant ships and US military personnel in the Strait of Hormuz. Currently, more than 50,000 US troops are deployed throughout the Middle East. They are on high alert, have combat capability, and are ready to continue carrying out the combat instructions issued by the US President at any time.
