Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 3, 2026, Jinhai Medical Technology (02225) issued a voluntary announcement announcing the appointment of Mr. Ma Chengdong as the Group's Chief Marketing Officer, effective from August 3, 2026, for an initial term of one year. According to the announcement, Ma Chengdong will be mainly responsible for the marketing strategy, market access, academic promotion, sales and channel operation of the Group's products, and supervise the commercialization of the Group's medical devices and equipment products.

According to reports, Mr. Ma Chengdong is 55 years old. He graduated from Shanghai Medical University (currently known as Fudan University Shanghai Medical College), majored in clinical medicine, and completed five years of residency training at the Shanghai Cardiovascular Institute. He has more than 25 years of experience in international medical companies. He has worked for General Electric Healthcare (China) Co., Ltd., holding various positions such as technical manager, product manager, regional sales director, Greater China marketing manager, acting general manager of the Greater China region, and general manager of the clinical application and research team; he also served as the senior director of CSOT's strategic marketing department and senior director of commercial excellence at Medtronic (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd.

Jinhai Medical Technology pointed out in the announcement that it is expected that the medical industry in mainland China will develop in four major directions: first, intelligence, AI is deeply integrated with image recognition, path planning, and risk warning, and robots can achieve sub-millimeter-level accurate operation; second, minimally invasive and non-invasive, the popularization of flexible devices, nanomaterials, and instant intraoperative imaging technology; third, domestic replacement acceleration, policy support and clinical demand will drive the localization of high-end devices; fourth, the integration of cutting-edge technology, and combined applications of brain-computer interfaces, robots, AI and neuromodulation will become the core growth poles in the future.
