11:24 PM EST, 12/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LNG Canada expects to provide an update later in the week on the ongoing pause in operations of its second processing unit, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a spokesperson for the Shell-led (SHEL.L, SHELL.AS) joint venture. The liquefied natural gas export facility said on Nov. 20 that it had scheduled a Dec. 1 restart for Train 2, with the process expected to take two weeks. The facility began operations in July and production from the second unit on Nov. 6. The joint venture also lists as owners Petronas, PetroChina, Mitsubishi, and South Korea's Kogas. LNG Canada did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
