On December 4, the “Silk Road E-commerce” Cloud Lecture Hall Overseas Training Session was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand. Vice Minister Sheng Qiuping attended the event and delivered a speech. Representatives from various sectors, including the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Social Affairs, and the Thai-ASEAN Business Association, and more than 60 small and medium-sized enterprises participated in the event. The purpose of the event is to implement the overall plan of the leaders of the two countries to deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation, implement the annual work schedule of the Sino-Thai Memorandum of Understanding on E-Commerce Cooperation, and promote e-commerce talent exchange and in-depth industrial cooperation between the two countries. China is ready to share China's e-commerce market with Thailand, jointly promote the digital transformation of the industry, develop digital talents, continue to create quality courses for capacity building, introduce high-quality Thai products through e-commerce channels, help Thailand raise the level of digitalization, and achieve new results in building a common destiny between China and Thailand. Lecturers from Guangxi International Business Vocational and Technical College and major e-commerce platforms gave lectures on topics such as the digital cross-border model for Thai SMEs and the promotion of premium foreign trade products. More than 60 representatives of Thai SMEs and e-commerce practitioners participated in the event. The live interaction was intense, and nearly 40 Thai companies reached initial cooperation agreements with Chinese e-commerce platforms.
