12:50 AM EST, 12/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe considered Demant (DEMANT.CO) a "good bet," despite the Danish hearing healthcare and audio technology company facing macroeconomic uncertainties in the international hearing aids market and diagnostic weakness in the US. As such, the research firm lowered its price target on the buy-rated stock by 14.7% to 307 Danish kroner on Wednesday. Analysts also noted the higher leverage from Demant's acquisition of German hearing aid retailer Kind Group, which boosted interest expenses and affected the company's bottom line. "Despite challenges that have reduced our target price, Demant still presents a significant upside. The company is poised to benefit from: 1) new product launches; 2) exiting the Hearing Implants business, allowing a focus on core operations; and 3) expanding its retail presence through inorganic growth strategies," the note said. AlphaValue/Baader Europe forecasts average EPS to grow by over 20% in 2026 to 2027. On the other hand, the research firm cut its EPS expectations for 2025 and 2026 by 19.2% and 16.5%, respectively, to 12.5 kroner and 15.4 kroner, to account for the aforementioned headwinds.
