On December 2, on the eve of the International Day of Disabled Persons, China's first barrier-free AI companion reading system focusing on the reading needs of blind children, was launched. Users can log in to the comprehensive digital interactive platform for blind education resources through mobile phones or computers for free. The system was jointly developed by China Braille Press and a technology company to capture the three core pain points of operational barriers, bottlenecks in understanding, and lack of emotion in reading for blind children, and solve the problems of blind children “not being able to see,” “unable to read,” and “no interaction” in reading.
